Nelson Park is a much loved spot in the Town of Dayton. It is a County Park thus under the jurisdiction of Waupaca County. Just today we found out there is a Parks and Rec meeting Tuesday, May 6, at FVTC campus on in Waupaca at 9 am. On the agenda is the bridge and island at Nelson Park next to the Red Mill. Possible removal of the island from this picturesque place in the Town of Dayton is under County control. Public is welcome. This must mean they are getting ready to engineer County K in that area. Local input is very important. If you are concerned, please attend tomorrow's meeting.
